Classmates:
 
The class reunion committee has been busily at work for the past two months planning a mid-reunion reunion.  At the 50th it was decided that waiting 5 years for another get-together was not acceptable, and that another meeting in three years was desireable.  Accordingly, the committee has been diligently at work creating another class class reunion for the summer of 2011.
 
Please set aside July 1, 2, and 3, 2011 on your calendar now.  Friday, July 1st will be the Icebreaker at Happy Pizza, 40 West Main Street in Plymouth.  The event will be casual and will run from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.  
 
Saturday, July 2nd will feature the class reunion in clambake/picnic format at Konefal's Grove in Jackson Township.  The clambake will run from noon until 7:00 p.m.  This is the same grove where we held the 3-class reunion in 2005.  This time, however, it will only be the Class of '58.
 
Sunday, July 3rd may or may not come to pass.  It was suggested at the 50th reunion that we consider a breakaway brunch somewhere the Sunday morining following the clambake.  Since the committee does not want to commit or plan this event because of unpredictable attendance, it was decided that that decision would be made at the clambake by those attending.  We can better get an idea of attendance at that time and will be prepared to offer several locations and menus to those desiring to attend.
 
There you have it ... the initial plans for another fun weekend of fellowship and catching-up with your classmates from Ol' Shawnee.  The committee will continue to plan and further develop events for the weekend.  We will keep you advised as events develop.  Please feel free to contact us with your comments and suggestions.  We are completely open to and welcome all input.
